The primary conference language is German and German and English submissions are expected. The conference tool EasyChair will be used for all submission types unless otherwise specified. A style sheet and guidelines for submissions will be provided. Doctoral students are encouraged to present their research in a special session. The following types of contributions may be submitted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Long papers (max. 7000 words)<\/li>
  2. Short papers – research \/ work in progress (max. 3000 words)<\/li>
  3. Posters \/ Demo \/ Clip (max. 1000 words)<\/li>
  4. Panel suggestions (max. 1000 words)<\/li>
  5. Doctoral thesis presentations (max. 3000 words)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    There is also a special call for the Gerhard Lustig Master Thesis Award<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Maximum number of words do not include the abstract, title and references. All submissions should be made anonymously. We provide a template for your submission, which can be downloaded here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The conference proceedings will be published by Werner H\u00fclsbusch (vwh, http:\/\/www.vwh-verlag.de) online at the time of the conference. The conference proceedings are Open Access and made available to the general public via publication servers. Additionally, the conference proceedings are published in the series Schriften zur Informationswissenschaft. Contributions are published in the DBLP (computer sciences bibligraphy, https:\/\/dblp.org\/). A listing in the digital library of the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Informatik (https:\/\/gi.de\/) is in preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Poster and System Demonstrations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Ongoing research and research prototypes can be demonstrated with a poster. The poster will be shown and can be commented on in the conference area. Poster authors should submit a short summary of the poster for review (max. 1000 words).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Panel suggestions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Panels discuss trending topics with a group of experts in a semi-informal manner. The panel proposal submission should include the topic of the panel, a short description of its objectives, the name of the panel chair and potential participants (in general, between four and six people). Panels should not extend 90 minutes at the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Doctoral research session<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Doctoral students are encouraged to present their research in a special doctoral research session with short student presentations (10-15 minutes) and discussions. Doctoral students submit a summary of their ongoing dissertation research (max. 3000 words) for review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
